Introducing DameDoklad
We are building Czech accounting you understand the first time. What is done, what we are building and why.
By the team DameDoklad
A Czech business owner has two options today. They can use a proven accounting program that does everything, but has to be learned and installed somewhere. Or they can pick a simple invoicing app they understand in five minutes, and leave it the moment they need inventory, payroll or double-entry.
We don’t think that choice should be necessary. DameDoklad is meant to be simple at first sight and complete when you need it.
What we mean by that
Simple means the screen has one main thing you want to do. Defaults are filled in, advanced fields stay hidden until you need them, and we use the Czech that accountants use.
Complete means the areas users of classic accounting programs are used to: invoicing, bank and cash, double-entry and tax records, VAT, inventory, assets, payroll and vehicle logs. All connected, so a document issued in one place shows up by itself everywhere it belongs.
Accounting open to other tools
Accounting data shouldn’t be locked in one program. Everything you can do in the app, you can do through the REST API, because both come from the same definition. The MCP server comes from that definition too, and it lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor connect to your accounting.
How far along we are
We will be open about it. DameDoklad is a new product, built while it runs. We finish areas step by step and say what changed in the changelog. Pricing is preliminary for now, and we will announce the final version before sales open.
Moving from POHODA? We wrote a factual comparison and a migration process. We wrote the comparison ourselves, so every detail has a source you can check.
